 The Police Academy has launched a conference on Peace, Security and Justice in Africa

The National Police College (NPC) located in Musanze District in collaboration with the University of Rwanda, has launched a two-day conference on peace, security and justice, which is part of the year-long training program for Senior Officers. in nine African countries

It is a conference attended by various experts from all over Africa who exchange ideas on peace, security and justice in Africa.

This year's theme is "Peace and Security in the Modern World: The Situation in Africa." (Peace and Security in the Evolving Global Dynamics: Implications for Africa).


Opening the conference, Dr. Emmanuel Ugirashebuja, the Minister of Justice and State Representative, said that the discussion on this topic will take time, as the development will bring about threats to peace and security, and that will contribute to the destruction of human freedom.

He says that the development of the world is accelerating and increasing the crimes committed with the help of technology, and the epidemics are increasing. Here he gave the example of COVID 19 that contributed to the global economic crisis, asking the participants of the meeting to carefully follow the discussions that will be held in order to find a solution to all these problems and treat Rwanda as home.
