Dr. Frank Habineza submits incomplete documents for presidential candidacy The President of the Democratic Green Party of Rwanda, Dr. Frank Habineza, has submitted his candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic in the elections scheduled for July 2024. On May 20, 2024, Habineza was received by Oda Gasinzigwa, the Chairperson of the National Electoral Commission (NEC), at the commission’s offices in Kiyovu. Dr. Habineza arrived at the NEC offices at 9:20 AM, accompanied by a large group of Green Party members including Senator Alex Mugisha and the party’s Secretary General, Elias Ntezimana.   Belgium tricks DRC to destabilize Rwanda again The Belgian Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Roxane de Bilderling, recently advised Congo to file a lawsuit against Rwanda to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing it of violating the sovereignty of the country and supporting the M23 rebel group fighting in the eastern part of the country.
